The 2013 Day of the Vlaški Language and Day of the Žejanski Language

On Saturday, August 3rd, 2013, the Day of Žejanski Language was held in Žejane, and the next day it was the Day of Vlaški Language in Šušnjevica. This year the program of the manifestations was dedicated to the children.

In the former school in Žejane, the children workshop in Žejanski language was held and CD Viro ku mire – Vlaški language for parents and children was introduced. In this children workshop in Žejanski language, guided by Adrijana Gabriš, about 10 children from Žejane participated, all of them school children or younger. By drawing pictures of the place where they live, respectively what remindes them most of Žejane, they made Žejanska kartulina acquiring the basic words of Žejanski language.

In the second part there was the show of the children who attend the Children language workshop Puljići from Šušnjevica. Puljići introduced childrens' songs, nursery rhymes and riddles in Vlaški language, and which is now together with the rest of the audio material combined on the album for learning Vlaški language for children and their parents Viro ku mire (Come with me). The CD publisher is organization Tragovi.

Participants of the Children language workshop Puljići introduced the new album to their fellow villagers on Sunday, August 4th, 2013, in the rooms of Local board in Šušnjevica. After the show, the participants and visitors associated with each other.
